The cost of silicon for solar cells appears to be heading down.
Check out Research Sciences Inc (RSI Silicon Inc) that won the
“Peoples Choice” Award and first place in MIT’s Ignite Clean
Energy ‘07 Business Presentation Competition. This appears to be
a great breakthrough in processing solar cell grade silicon.
Advances like this can’t happen fast enough and hope it is true.
